Hello everyone,
This is Lysandra, in to give you an update on Casiphia's trip to Bolivia.
This past Saturday, Casiphia had an incredible opportunity to sing a duet with our cousin, Ignacio, at our cousin Marianna's wedding. It was a truly an incredible performance. So far, I have only heard the recording over the phone, but they are both extremely talented vocalists, and the piece was quite moving.
Casiphia has also met with Andrea Wilson, a missionary in Cochabamba, to help with the youth group there.
She is enjoying every minute there, it is truly a dream come true that she has been able to take this trip. Casiphia loves the spanish culture- especially the pace of life. She said that everyone seems so happy, because the family is so central in everything. It is definitely a slower pace of life there; every day, all families come home for lunch from 12-2pm (some even get in a "siesta" -a nap).
Please continue to pray for safe travels this week. Casiphia will return on Nov. 2oth, so she has a little bit less than 2 weeks left until she comes home.
